Port

　　Sheyang Port is a State-level II opening port, north to Lianyun Port 80 sea miles; east to Mokpo Port (Korea) 300 sea miles; south to Shanghai Port 280 sea miles and Nagasaki port (Japan) 460 sea miles. With docks special use for containers and 200,000km2 freight yard, the annual throughput of Sheyang Port is over 20,000,000 tons.
 
　　Aviation

　　Yancheng Airport has been open to navigation with Beijing, Guangzhou, Seoul (Korea) and other cities. Sheyang County Seat is 45km far to Yancheng Airport.

　　Railway

　　Sheyang County Seat is 55km far to Yancheng Station of Xinchang Railway and at present Sheyang Port Branch of Xinchang Railway is under program and construction.

　　Road

　　Sheyang is 380km far to Shanghai and only 3.5h is needed to arrive by Yanjing, Ningtong or Yanjiang Expressways. It is 340km far to Nanjing and can take 3.5h to reach by Ningjingyan Expressway. The state key project "Tongsan" Expressway under construction gets through the whole Sheyang territory, 6km far to West Zone of Sheyang Development Zone; then it will take only 2.5h to Shanghai.
