¡¡¡¡Sheyang County lies at the transitional belt of warm temperate zone and north subtropics, belonging to typical marine climate. With plenteous sunlight, abundant rainfall, short frost period, mild and humid climate, the four seasons are sharp. The annual rainfall is 1023.6mm; the frost-free period is 220 days; average temperature is 13.6¡æ£¬and average frosty days below -5¡æ is no more than 10 annually; and average frosty days over 35¡æ is no more than 6 annually. The state-level natural protected area of rare birds within Sheyang borders is the largest coastal everglade protected area, and also she is the hometown of red-crowned crane (one kind of rare bird in the world).
¡¡¡¡Sheyang Economic Development Zone jointly tracks with the international conventions. In 2004, it is certified by ISO14000 environmental management system successfully, and the management committee fully executes ISO14000 standard.
