Yancheng National Brids Reserve

¡¡¡¡Yancheng National Birds Reserve,also called the "UNESCO Yancheng Ecological Protection Sphere"was founded in 1983.Over 3million birds migrate to this place every spring and autumn.Over 1000 red-crown cranes and 500000 water birds spend winter here.It is the biggest coastal wetland reserve in China.

¡¡¡¡In the reserve,there are crane pavilions,bird wards,red-crowned crawned crane travel agency,shell company,water product base,ostrich center,aquarium,lakes and wetlands where deer,peacocks and swans are roaming free.There are also museums,special scientific sites in the reserve where a wide range of activities are carried out,focusing on the ecology of wetlands.

¡¡¡¡There are over 450 species of plants,379 species of birds,45 species of amphibians,281 species of fish of mammads in the reserve.The first-rank mationally protected animals include the red-crowned crane,hooded crane,white crane,stork,shedrake,procuress,hawk,paddlefish,river deer,etc.The second-rank nationally protected animals include the white-neck crane,gray crane,black-faced spoonbill,swan,mandarin duck,seagull,etc.
