Infrastructures

Power supply: The total installed capacity of Sheyang Harbor Power Plant has amounted to 550,000kw and the third-period engineering of 4×600,000kw has entered the stage of feasibility study. 　　Water supply: Water supply capacity of surface water in the County is 100,000 tons per day. 　　Gas supply: the environmental protection thermal power plant with a capacity of 2×15,000kw has been completed and put into production with the annual gas supply of 600,000tons. 　　Highway: with only 25km away from the national highway 204 and the national key engineering--the Lianyungang-Yancheng Speedway runs through its territory will be completed for traffic by the end of 2006. 　　Port: Sheyang Harbor is the national Class II Open Harbor and domestic branch lines to Shanghai, Lianyungang and Qingdao have been established so that the navigation to Hong Kong and Macau, Japan, Korea, Europe and the US has been realized with an annual throughput of over 6 million tons. 　　Aviation: Only 30 minutes' distance away from Yancheng Airport and 3 hours' distance from Putong International Airport. 　　Railway: The Xinchang Railway has been linked up completely and a harbor branch railway will be paved in Sheyang.
